How to write a dissertation?
Here are the steps that I am following (so that I don't forget)
- Create the basic framework in longform using Zotero.
- Set a per-project limit of 700 words (that is more than enough if you have 3 months of time)
- Decide in the morning what you want to write about? Create a check-list, don't write too much on a single topic (but if you do, lucky for you!)
- Ideally, create 4 small topics so that you can write about
- Target around 175 words for each topic (but you can cross that count!)
- Think out what you want to write about, the idea or the content on paper first. Like try explaining it to someone. Use your hunch, think of diagrams that you would want to show in order to better explain a topic and then create them on your own!
