See, I am not a trained musician. Call it chance or design, but like many of us, I just have "willingness" to learn, and we have to make-do with that.

I was very fortunate to be inspired to learn Piano from a very small age, albeit without a teacher. This helped me learn playing by ear but the learning curve was very very flat, almost making me feel like I am not making any progress at all. That is why a teacher is crucial.

But for the rest of us, who don't have a teacher, exploration is perhaps the only way to learn.
