The Blurting method
- Just speak out whatever your are learning, in your own words.
- For example, pause the video or look away from the material or slide and then explain whatever you understood about the topic.
- This improves the ability to actively process that information instead of just passively listening to it.
This incorporates the Feynmann Techniques and Active Recall
Organize your notes
- Summarizing or word-to-word note taking is a waste of time
- We may lose track of what we are actually studying. So, just organize your notes
- Structure them.
- Then go back to the topic.
Start Early
- Be proactive. Know the syllabus.
